Traits

The Bull Terrier is a loyal and affectionate dog to their master. There are two types, the miniature Bull Terrier and the standard Bull Terrier. They are playful and goofy but will defend their people at a moments notice. Originally they were bred to fight off bulls but as time has gone by, their aggressive attitude has lessened considerably and they now make great pets. They usually do not get along to well with other dogs or children, as they have a lower tolerance level, but if socialized as a puppy, they can be well mannered as adults towards these. They are not the type of breed that can be left alone for long periods of time as they need considerable human companionship. If they are left alone, they will become destructive.
