Traits

The Borzoi has become more of a companionship breed then it was ever before. They are affectionate with family members and are loyal but can be free spirited and pleasing their owner is not their number one priority. They are not barkers and are quite cleanly dogs often compared to cats. The Borzoi can co exist well with other dogs, but cats and other small animals should be monitored when they are in the presence of this breed, as their instinct is to hunt smaller animals. These dogs are quiet, good natured and are respectful of their owners and make great pets for people who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or biking!
